Warmer weather means that now’s the best time to get on the road and behind the wheel of a sports coupe, and with the new changes we’ve brought to both the 2015 Scion FR-S and the 2015 Scion tC, we’ve made the driving experience more exciting than ever!
2015 Scion FR-S
The 2015 FR-S has taken the automotive community by storm, thanks to an unparalleled combination of low pricing and driving dynamics, and thanks to improved suspension tuning, we’ve made it even better than ever. Up front we’ve added stiffer mounts for the front suspension, which combined with the retuned rear shocks, result in a more communicative ride with less body roll than previous model years.
To match its improved handling dynamics, we’ve also made a few exterior changes for a more aggressive appearance. The standard antenna has been replaced by a sleek and aerodynamic shark-fin antenna, while larger exhaust tips poke out from underneath the rear bumper, giving it a more flush appearance.
Changes extend to inside the cabin, where the dash panels have been updated with a carbon fiber appearance trim, and auto on/off headlamps have been added. And, to top things off, the 2014 Scion FR-S also includes a newly designed key as well.
The Argento color is being replaced by a new color called Steel, while the premium Whiteout paint is also being replaced by a new pearl shade of white called Halo, available for an additional $395.
Pricing for the 2015 Scion FR-S Starts at $24,900 with a six-speed manual, or at $26,000 when paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with Dynamic Rev Management.*
2015 Scion tC
To enhance the sporty feel of the 2015 tC, models with the six-speed automatic transmission now include wheel mounted paddle shifters, to give easy access to gear changes while keeping both hands on the steering wheel. The Dynamic Rev Management technology introduced in the 2014 Scion tC models will continue to be included, providing automatic throttle blipping for smoother, rev-matched downshifts.
Like the 2015 FR-S, we’ve made new colors available for the 2015 model year Scion tCs – Classic Silver is being replaced by a new Cosmic Gray, while Super White is being replaced with a Blizzard Pearl that’s available for an additional $395.
With the changes, pricing for the 2015 Scion tC will start at $19,210 for models paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and $20,360 with the six-speed automatic.*
* All prices listed above exclude the delivery, processing and handling (DPH) fee of $755.
